Post subject:  T.J. Hooker (TV series, 1980s)

With the release of this complete series to DVD, it seems fitting to have a soundtrack release similar to the one done for 1980s cop show 'CHiPs' a few years back. For those unfamiliar with it, 'T.J. Hooker' starred William Shatner ('Star Trek') as a veteran sergeant of the LCPD (whatever that stood for; the show is centered around Los Angeles suburbs) who is tasked with training recruits for the first 2 seasons. It also starred Adrian Zmed, a young Heather Locklear (who was also starring in 'Dynasty' at the same time) and James Darren (who went on to become a prominent director of TV shows, including the cop show 'Hunter'). In the next 3 seasons the show focused on Hooker & Romano (Zmed) as well as Jim Corrigan (Darren) and Stacy Sheridan (Locklear) in their roles as beat cops and the cases they were running into.

This series had some exciting music, particularly from car/foot chase scenes, not to mention a great opening title. I'd like to see the music from this one made available.
