As Varese recently re-issued their recording of Cobert's THE WINDS OF WAR recently, it begs the question as to why the composer's music for the sequel is so hard to find. (How many I wonder were able to find the original releases, on CD from the Dutch label Dureco or the LP from Mediatrax?) If one discounts these early editions, we're still waiting for a stand-alone recording. (MPI Home Video released it as part of their set for this series back in 2003.) If the elements are available, there is scope for an expanded edition.
