Any chance of a Pino Donaggio "The Barbarians" CD re-release? Great score that I'd love to be able to own!

There was a comment a few years ago stating that Intrada debated a reissue but quickly laughed it off for what essentially amounted to it not being Donaggio's finest hour, to put it mildly.

I actually believe that this would sell better than they think. It's MGM-owned, so there's possibly not much cost or headache involved in licensing.

Thanks for letting me know. I agree, it may not be Donnagio's classiest score or movie but I think there is an audience for it (more than just myself). Cannon Films, synths, a member of Goblin playing on it and directed by Ruggero Deodato (all positives to me!). All in all I think it's a pretty fun score and I think it'd do well too.

EDIT: Just found the thread you were referring to. I'd honestly say now is a good time, I don't think they'd have to give any copies away this time around.

They could increase appeal by pairing it with a reissue of Hercules, which was a fairly fast seller if I recall correctly.
