Have you guys come across any of these bad boys?

The Executioner (Ron Goodwin)
Murder by Death (Dave Grusin)
Flatliners (James Newton Howard)
Any of Quincy Jones’ scores for the studio

I like to concentrate on "golden age " scores from Columbia Pictures. Now that Intrada has uncovered gems like ON THE WATERFRONT and THE CAINE MUTINY. I know things take time and patience is required, but how about these "undiscovered " gems:

THE HARDER THEY FALL - Hugo Friedhofer

JUBAL - David Raksin

3:10 TO YUMA - George Duning

THEY CAME TO CORDURA - Elie Siegmeister

If the music elements still exist , even Ira Gershwin's music from COVER GIRL starring Rita Hayworth, Gene Kelly and Phil Silvers.

I thought it meant Pretty Fuckin' Kool.

Anyway, the Golden Age will have to wait until everything I want gets released. Sorry, gentlemen.

T. Newman Fan,
Us Golden Agers will wait as long as we can, time and age permitting, and I would imagine that PFK, Monte (and his doppelgänger  ), and myself would be interested in picking up a lot of your 'wanted' titles too! I would especially welcome The Executioner/Goodwin and Mackenna's Gold/Jones, hopefully the later will see the light of day sometime?

You know Niall, Monte and I have nearly identical tastes in films and film scores. Some people think we're the same person! Guess you can join the gang too! 8)

Don't worry, fellas, for we are all one: a dying breed of weirdos that listens to film music as an album. I wouldn't want it any other way. Screw the judgmental pricks that laugh at our hobby.
