I know that many of us Intrada clients would dearly love to see more 1980's horror titles
released, although I am quite confident that none of us would object to more horror titles
from all eras! 1980's horror scores tend to be very unique from those of the same genre
coming from other eras, in that they tend to incorporate a disproportionate amount of
kitschy and campy sounds. I believe that the following 1980's horror titles would quite
literally (and metaphorically) be music to the ears of those of us who grew up during
the 1980's
1. An American Werewolf in London (Elmer Bernstein)
2. The Howling (Pino Donaggio)
3. Visiting Hours (Jonathan Goldsmith)
4. Omen III: The Final Conflict (Jerry Goldsmith)
5. C.H.U.D. (Martin Cooper & David A. Hughes)
6. Ninja III: The Domination (Udi Harpaz & Misha Segal)
7. Of Unknown Origin (Kenneth Wannberg)
8. Terror Train (John Mills-Cockell)
9. The Shining (Wendy Carlos)
10. Fright Night (Brad Fiedel)
11. Night of the Comet (David Campbell)
12. The Funhouse (John Beal)
13. Silver Bullet (Jay Chattaway)
14. Return of the Living Dead (Matt Clifford & Francis Haines)
15. Inferno (Keith Emerson)
16. Amityville II: The Possession (Lalo Schifrin)
17. Amityville III: The Demon (Howard Blake)
18: Psycho III (Carter Burwell)
