There are plenty of 60s and 70s Disney-owned titles that I and others have wished for, but that does not mean I'm allergic to the 80s and 90s. Blood In Blood Out (Conti) Spy Hard (Conti) Tex (Donaggio) Cool Runnings (Zimmer & Glennie-Smith) The Preacher's Wife (Zimmer) The War at Home (Poledouris) Celtic Pride (Poledouris) Phenomenon (Thomas Newman) Deceived (Thomas Newman) Stakeout (Rubinstein) Another Stakeout (Rubinstein) An Innocent Man (Shore) Aspen Extreme (Convertino) |

I'd totally buy Cool Runnings, but of course I'm hoping in light of Intrada's long and close relationship with Basil that the two projects in process are The War at Home and Celtic Pride. ![]() And hopefully a complete release for Les Miserables (with individual cues!) is on the horizon as well. With two Contis in that list, no one tell Henry on FSM or he'll have a heart attack. It might be neither. |

The "next year" is here. It will be interesting to see which two albums we'll get. Roger is especially fond of Rubinstein, so my bet is on the two Stakeout scores. |

Disney owned Horner title: Mighty Joe Young. For a CD that's almost maxed out to capacity, there's still quite a bit of great score missing. If it ever happens, I hope that what happened with TITANIC happens with this and the Trailer music is included. Just like for Titanic, Horner recorded an early, almost demo-like version of the main theme (the "Windsong") for use in the theatrical trailer. It had much softer, lullaby-like vocals to it compared to the more authentic African choir in the final film, very dreamy sounding. Wonderful. In fact that trailer music could've been the one cue from that film he took time off on Titanic to record as alleged. |
