I'm still hoping that Intrada could leverage their Universal contacts to put out this great, under-the-radar Mancini score from 1961, I've mentioned this before and wonder if materials still exist at Universal. Since the film's protagonist spent most of his life as an Identity thief to pursue a wide variety of careers, Mancini got to play in lots of different fields--drama, comedy, romance and suspense. There's even a love theme that almost sounds like a precursor to CHARADE. Anybody else here remember this charming Robert Mulligan film? |

Read both books about Fred Demara. Victor Buono should have had the role. This and most any other Mancini score would be great. |
