The composer's music is one of the bright spots in this rather lacklustre "comedy thriller" from 1965 (starring Rock Hudson and Claudia Cardinale). This early score is of interest as the genesis of many of Schifrin's trademarks can already be heard. Anyone for the Universal music vaults?

I'll second that one. The movie's a deadass entry in the psuedo-CHARADE category, but Schifrin's score is a nice elegant early effort that I'd buy without hesitation.

I'd buy this one too. Fingers crossed, it is Lalo Schifrin after all! :)

I see a new region free Blu-Ray of BLIND FOLD (aka, NEW YORK EXPRESS) is available from Germany.

Thanks for the info, vinylscrubber!

Schifrin reused music from his Blindfold score for the chase scene at the end of the Mission: Impossible pilot score. It's on the LLL M:I set.
