Intrada has released a lot of Miklos Rozsa scores in the past. I wanted to put in the suggestion for Sahara. I know it has seen releases in Rozsa compilation albums and re-recordings. But if the original masters still survive, a release of those would be great.

I wouldn't complain about a new recording of the complete score to SAHARA under Intrada's Excalibur "brand". In fact,I would gladly welcome it. Here's hoping.

If this had been a Paramount Picture there might have been a possibility for the release of the original tracks. But as it's from Columbia Pictures I think the chances are remote. Still one has to be grateful that Chandos recently recorded an (almost) 8 minute suite.

Yes! I would buy a SAHARA CD in an instant. It's probably my favorite WW2 film and I love Rozsa's wonderful score. The last couple of minutes of the film's score are very moving.

Besides Chandos, Intrada also issued the 8 minute SAHARA suite on their fantastic newly recorded CD "THE MAN IN HALF MOON STREET. Intrada also newly recorded SPELLBOUND and THE RED HOUSE, so maybe they will consider doing a complete SAHARA with perhaps some 1940s Rozsa film noir.
