One of the first soundtrack LP's that I had as a kid, and definitely in my top ten Jerry Goldsmith scores. I was just watching the movie recently and realized that a few cues have still yet to be released. One that stuck out was a brief cue before "The Bees Picnic" where the Durant family first arrives and is watched by a bee (along with its kaleidoscopic point of view). The Prometheus Limited Edition soundtrack has also been out of print for a while, so it would be nice for Intrada or another label to revisit it. Hope the tapes are also still in good condition. |

I am down for this title. I have the Prometheus release - and appreciate it - but there are still cues missing. In addition, Prometheus, as with most of their titles, sounds muffled and compressed. "The Swarm" definitely needs the Intrada Treatment! |

I second that, and would find it a treat if Tony Habeeb's liner notes from the 1978 Warner Brothers LP were included. They really are notorious! |
