| Post subject: | James Bernard - Hammer Horror |
I’m wondering if any James Bernard Hammer Horror film scores (or any James Bernard for that matter), might be possible as a future Intrada release? It seems like he’s pretty underrepresented on CD, and of the few soundtracks that have been given some kind of release, most are out of print. I have Buysoundtrax’s CD release of The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires and the music is really great (even if the film isn’t considered as such to some – personally, I really enjoyed the film!). I have no idea as to anything that might prevent some of Bernard’s work from being released, such as licensing restrictions or quality/lack of source tapes, but it would be great to see Horror of Dracula or any other James Bernard score on CD, and it would be an instant purchase for me! Thanks Intrada for all the great film music over the years. |
