It would be hard to find a more obscure Jarre score than THE SETTING SUN, but I venture this would meet that criterion. There was a non-commercial vinyl release from this 1978 TV movie, but I suspect it may be heavily narrated by Dennis Weaver (as there are no individual tracks). Is it worth releasing? At least it would be interesting to have the music liberated from its narration. If anyone knows this music at all, your comments would be welcome. |
