Nice, creepy score by Schifrin for an underrated Universal Pictures Hitchcockian film starring Michael Sarrazin, Gayle Hunnicutt, and Eleanor Parker. The plucking strings forming the theme for the cats is skin-crawling. |

A fine score indeed. And in case members think they've seen at least the theme on previous Schifrin anthologies, this is actually for the 1964 French movie LES FELINS (for which the title was changed in the U.S. to JOY HOUSE and LOVE CAGE). |
