This is probably the gem in the crown of John Barry's period in U.S. TV. If one includes the series of THE WHITE HOUSE YEARS, there is easily scope for a whole CD (possibly more?). That this magnificent music has been overlooked suggests that the musical elements may have gone astray. If so, a complete new recording could be a future project for producer James Fitzpatrick and conductor Nic Raine.

The last Barry project of which I'm aware by Fitzpatrick/Raine is a complete recording of MOONRAKER.
