Varese recently issued the premiere of this composer's LP program for THE CHAMP. I would imagine there would be much the same audience for this particularly lyrical score for the 1977 movie starring Al Pacino and Marthe Keller. If it was found that all that could be released was sourced from the album master, an ideal companion would be AGATHA by Johnny Mandel (also released on the Casablanca label). The running time for both would easily be accommodated on a single CD. Over to you, Universal Music Special Products. |
