I'm sure that a legitimate release for this will continue to elude us (though there's no shortage of unlicensed editions!). In theory even the Wagner selections should have been available for a soundtrack release, as they were specially recorded for the movie by the London Philharmonic under Norman Del Mar. I'm rather intrigued by a 7" inch single at the time of the movie's initial release on the Warner Brothers label (containing one Wagner piece conducted by Del Mar, and "Death of Uryens" by Trevor Jones. This single was supposed to have been extracted from a Warner Brothers LP (BSK 3574) which was never released. So could Warner Music still have the masters for this unreleased LP I wonder? (I've also heard that Trevor Jones doesn't want a release, but does he actually have the rights?)
