He did some additional droning Music for The Thing I Think, but did he do anything for Starman?
I saw Carpenter live in Copenhagen two weeks ago and he was fantastic

There have been at least two of John Carpenter's films I can think of where other composers did the music, but he himself scored some incidental music, and the original tracks have never been released: 'The Thing' and 'Starman'. I love his scores and would love to have the original tracks on cd. |

With John Carpenter now on tour playing his own music, this would be a great time to release this. Just sayin'. |

There's a thrumming synth sound when the spaceship first appears and lands on earth that I'm pretty sure is John Carpenter. It sounds a lot like him, anyway. |
