This isn't really a suggestion as much as it is an inquiry, because just about every label would obviously like to release this simply because of the composer. My question is what exactly has been the issue in getting this released? Elements? It's a shame that it did not receive an LP release back in its day. This score would have been perfect in a condensed LP format, for a complete presentation would contain what I deem quite a bit of filler as an album. |

There was, of course, no legitimate vinyl release for this title. But if any members are tempted to get the edition on the so-called Monogram label, I'd advise against it. The sound quality is simply abysmal! (Though the sonics on the other side of the disc, for ISLANDS IN THE STREAM, are quite decent.) I suspect the source for the Soundtrack Library CD release (or should I call it escapee?) was an isolated music track on a laserdisc. Still one can always hope for a miracle and a discovery of musical elements which are good enough to be released. |
