With INTRADA putting out both JAWS and JAWS 2 this year, it seems Maestro Williams is certainly in the mood to revisit some his earlier works. Any chance of INTRADA getting a shot at the Potter film music? John Williams did the first three himself. I know the films were produced and released by Warner Bros..... Do you guys have any "good friends" over there? |

If I remember correctly, La-La Land has been trying to do these (which should go without saying) but to no avail as of yet. Intrada does work with Warner Bros., but so does La-La Land and this content is their style through and through. |

Since this particular thread was originally posted, La-La Land Records released a boxset of John Williams' scores for the first three Harry Potter films. That being said, I would also love to see if they'd have a look at the soundtracks for the other films in the series (Patrick Doyle/Nicholas Hooper/Alexandre Desplat). |
