Yes, it is fairly stupid of me to request this when Intrada must have thought about it. However, I want to express interest in this being the next John Williams at Universal album after the definitive Jaws collection.

Yes, there's no need for a thread about that score in this forum. Eiger and Earthquake will come sooner or later. Everything else would be a surprise.

Absolutely! Give this score the release it deserves. The Varese Sarabande album is nice but it's missing a lot.

and not in film order, if one wants to be picky.

Always hoping for a complete release, but this one doesnt seem to be as popular as his other work?

Intrada,

You did a fantastic job this year with Jaws and Jaws 2 out of the Universal catalog.

Please keep up the good work and continue forward with The Eiger Sanction, Dracula, and Earthquake!

Your Loyal Customer,

Jason

I too hope that a complete CD presentation of John Williams' THE EIGER SANCTION
with the original film recording (plus MCA Album release edit)
will be in the pipeline of Intrada's schedule.
This is a much too important Williams score so it definitively should get
a proper restoration and CD presentation.
I hope it will happen soon ...

The Eiger Sanction is one of my favourite scores by John Williams, hope it does come out in a new release soon.

any chance we'll see the original in our dwindling lifetime? Can Roger/Doug comment on it's availability or lack thereof? If it's available, is it too difficult to license, or a perceived lack of demand? Just listening to the re-recording - really wonderful music which seems like an unusual mix of European (ala Michael Lewis, etc) main theme lyricism with American action backbone.
