A friend of mine posted the LP artwork on his Facebook today. Got me thinking.... we could really use an expanded CD!

I couldn't agree more! Today is Halloween and I just watched Psycho - Psycho III. I really want a complete score for Psycho III. Even Psycho IV would be good.

My most wanted grails were released by Intrada this year (the Jaws sequels), and another that was in the top of my list was Psycho II.

I'm sure Intrada is aware of the demand for Psycho III and I really hope it is released in the near future. Such an unusual, inventive score. It remais my favourite from Carter Burwell - the Maureen in the Desert theme, the Body Bags sequence, the unreleased music for Maureen's return to the house - but it was not love at first sight (in fact when I first saw the movie I hated it for not being like the score for part II and not including the murder motiv), but latter I start to appreciate it (and the film) a lot.
It's a score I taped from a VHS of the film many years ago (before obtaining the LP) and that needs to be released in complete form.

That may be true. But Intrada and some other posters alluded to getting the rights years ago. So this is possible.

All Intrada ever said is that stuff like the Psycho series is in their wheelhouse given the studio and record company involved, because they were and still are the only company regularly working with those two entities combined. Some people of course misinterpreted that to mean that every score in the series was being worked on at that moment in time.

With Intrada's 2015 releases done, I truly hope that you get it in 2016. It certainly is possible.

Wasn´t Psycho 3 released backin 1986 or am I wrong here?
That would mean it celebrates its 30th anniversary next year...just saying

This was one of the first soundtracks I bought on vinyl back in the days, would love to upgrade and I think Intrada will make us happy with this release in the near future
