Story of a Woman - John Williams

Every time I read a thread pertaining to re-recordings on the FSM forum I see some John Williams enthusiasts recommend a new recording of Story of a Woman while working under a baseless assumption that the original's music tapes are missing.

Well, they apparently did not bother asking the current #1 label working on older Universal titles about it, so I'll do the honor of making the suggestion.

It is actually a good score and I would support it with an immediate purchase, and you know there are many John Williams enthusiasts in our little community who would do the same.

Speaking of an old Universal Williams score, I would prefer The Rare Breed (as a rerecording or as an original recording release), fantastic western score !
