Of all of the scores from the Jaws series, this one is quite possibly my favorite. There is much to be expanded upon since prior releases have missed out on a lot of great material. If the Jaws scores are not given a box set release I would at least love to see an expanded JAWS 3-D with film versions and all. |

It is a very entertaining score for sure. This series' scores really do need to be boxed up and be done with for people like us. The general population of listeners is, for the most part, undoubtedly happy to just have the current CD or download of the first score and really do not care about sound quality. This all makes UMG and Universal granting licenses and materials to a boutique label like Intrada ideal at this point. But, hey, UMG might be able to make such a package attractive enough (in cost, marketing, etc.) to lure in a good portion of the general listening population as well if they are willing to put in the effort. |

A Jaws box remains my most wanted grail. This year is Jaws 40th anniversary and I hope a new release of the complete score and album are released with better sound. The sequels have never been released in complete form. Jaws 3-d is for sure the one where there's more unreleased material. The film includes revised versions of several tracks that differ from the album and a lot of unreleased music including some source music using the themes of the score. |

There's probably a Williams thing that is keeping the full box set from happening. We now have a complete J:TR. We still need a good quality of JAWS. and we still need complete entires from 2 & 3. I hope too, that we hear these one day soon. |

Well, I am very happy that Intrada was able to release Small's score. A definitive Jaws 3 album seems quite likely now, though the short album will do just fine until Intrada can work it out. The Jaws 2 album, as great of a representation as it is, has been out-of-print for so long that it makes you wonder why it has never been reissued. It is arguably a more engaging score on album than the original. |

Count me in for a complete Jaws 3. I also agree that Jaws 2 deserves a re-issue as well. The original Jaws 2 soundtrack does flow very well but for some reason I can't explain, I do like when complete scores are issued in the order of the film. |

I am totally down for a Complete and Remastered Jaws 2. There are a few small cues left off (Plus, knowing Williams, some alternates and probably unused ones as well), and in addition to the original, and many other Williams' scores, this one is a personal fave. Plus the red carpet treatment, the packaging and the overall distribution Intrada gives, I'm always amazed. Same for Jaws 3-D. I would welcome the complete film score with album tracks for comparison any day. Let's hear it (and hear it) for Intrada AND the possibilities!!!! |
