I know that the many unreleased Max Steiner scores are of interest to a number of people, and that Intrada might eventually release the long-awaited album for Rio Bravo. Looker - Barry DeVorzon Night Shift - Burt Bacharach American Anthem - Alan Silvestri The Lost Boys - Thomas Newman Nothing but Trouble - Michael Kamen The Last Boy Scout - Michael Kamen The Witches - Stanley Myers The Train Robbers - Dominic Frontiere Chisum - Dominic Frontiere The Outlaw Josey Wales - Jerry Fielding Class of '44 - David Shire Straight Time - David Shire Skin Game - David Shire Harper - Johnny Mandel An Enemy of the People - Leonard Rosenman Countdown - Leonard Rosenman Moon Zero Two - Don Ellis Our Time - Michel Legrand Ode to Billy Joe - Michel Legrand The Arrangement - David Amram Last of the Mobile Hot Shots - Quincy Jones Firecreek - Alfred Newman Kung Fu (TV series) - Jim Helms Snow Job - Jacques Loussier The Last of Sheila - Billy Goldenberg The Drowning Pool - Michael Small (unfortunately lost on last report) Black Belt Jones - Luchi De Jesus (unfortunately lost on last report) Police Academy sequels - Robert Folk (La-La Land will apparently get to these) |

I'm sure there's a few I could add to that list, one comes to mind: The Great Race original score - Henry Mancini |

Deep Blue Sea by Trevor Rabin. Not many people refer to this title, but what an amazing score! |

I can't believe I forgot to mention The Pack (1977) by Lee Holdridge. That one is a must. In spirit of tonight's Elmer Bernstein release, I'll also recommend Funny Farm. We have dozens of Warner Bros. recommendations here. These alone should keep the people at Intrada busy. |

We can cross off The Last Boy Scout thanks to La-La Land. In other great Warner Bros. soundtrack news, Chisum and The Train Robbers appear possible, as a producer said to expect those scores from either Intrada or La-La Land at some point in the future. Keep the wheels on those great Warner Bros. vaults turnin'! |

I might be the only one who wants them but I look forward to any future Police Academy releases by LLL. I believe they said we might see more in 2016. And I'm surprised Kubrick's soundtracks haven't gotten more love. Barry Lyndon and The Shining shouldn't be so expensive! Also: -The Witches -Innocent Blood (didn't Elmer Bernstein originally score this one?) -Fair Game (LLL said this was on their radar at some point) -Batman & Robin (yeah, right) -the definitive Blade Runner (see above!) -several expansions/remasters including Beetlejuice, The Witches of Eastwick, and Varese titles like Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Executive Decision, Demolition Man, Sphere, and Spies Like Us |
