As someone who's not overly fond of this composer, I have to say this score for the 1984 TV version is a welcome exception. Coming between SOPHIE'S CHOICE (possibly his finest work for film) and D.A.R.Y.L, this gem (as of writing only available on a long out-of-print LP on the Allegiance label) is long ovedue for its CD debut. Admittedly the playing time on the vinyl edition is not overly long (and does include some period source music) but at least it would exceeed the playing time of the recent Intrada release SEE NO EVIL!
