Now that we've finally been endowed with a CD release of Carl Davis' KING DAVID, what about the score for the 1976 mini-series as above? (Though composed around the same time as THE RETURN OF A MAN CALLED HORSE, it couldn't be in deeper contrast in terms of orchestration and approach.) As this was sponsored by Columbia Pictures Television, I"m not optimistic about the music elements surviving.
