I'm not sure if anything survives of this score but if there is, I would love a release of Hugo Friedhofer's oscar nominated score to this movie. Being as the movie barely survived time, it's highly unlikely that anything of the score did but just in case it is out there somewhere, I wanted to suggest it.

I saw the DVD recently, and agree this is a truly brilliant score. I suspect that the musical elements have disappeared. It really merits a new recording, but sadly too few people are aware of either the movie or the score.

It breaks my heart that such work goes un-noticed these days. I would bet that the score is gone probably because nobody bothered to restore the movie until a few years ago.
