I would love to see a re-release of Delerue's entire score for "Steel Magnolias". I know that Twilight Time's Blu-Ray as well as the DVD had isolated score tracks. I would be nice though to have a CD album though. It's one of Delerue's best scores and it certainly deserves a re-issue. |

Unless I'm mistaken, the original Polydor soundtrack album was withdrawn from sale almost immediately after release in 1989. (It has been suggested that this was purely a contractual failure on the part of the label, as the names of the actresses on the front cover didn't correspond to their images! Could it have been as petty as that?) Anyway the Polydor album had less than 25 minutes of the original score, so could there be scope for an expanded edition? |

Would be a release of the full score by itself. One of Delerue's best, which is saying something. |
