LEGEND is Universal right?
I realy hope for a complete score of Legend.
If that could not happen because of rights. It should be a shame ,because Jerry Goldsmith wrote almost every scene.
Not that i am unthankfull,Psycho II made my dream come true.

As mentioned in two or three (maybe four) other suggestion threads, Ford Thaxton informed you not to waste your time with any label other than Silva as they retain rights to the album. He would know.

They at the moment do not license out album rights to other labels like Intrada.

I like your passion for this score, but that doesn't change the reality that you need to ask Silva for this one. Just do not annoy them, for the sake of all others who wish for this slight expansion.

Thanks for the explanation.
I,m just a little confused because of the unreleased Varese version,The i don,t know why Silva don,t release the complete version, and about who owns the rights in the future.
So maybe Intrada.

As I understand it, Silva bought perpetual album rights later in the game. La-La Land confirmed that the same applies to First Blood Part II and Supergirl.

It seems that Intrada cannot do anything about it, which I guess is a shame because I recall Roger saying that he would like a chance at this one.

Silva might feel that a complete version is simply not desired among enough people or worth the time and expense since there is a substantial amount of the music already available. They are sellling the three Goldsmith albums as downloads, which I suppose is what most of today's young audience are happy with. But, you should at least contact them expressing interest.
