Like Tourist Trap, this score was abridged from its LP presentation for CD release. If possible, it would be great to have it done right from tapes at Paramount, or at least the original album tapes. There are familiar Morricone melodies and complex rhythmic textures abound in this score, which can only be a good thing. |

Thanks for the information. I figured that this had to have been looked into even if it's not among Morricone's most interesting. I wonder if Varese retains rights to it on album or if the issue is entirely something else. If it is Varese, then at least we have some minute chance of it being revisited. I remember Bruce Kimmel commenting on the LP release, stating that he helped Varese acquire it but he wasn't completely sure if it is one of their "perpetuity" titles. I hope there are no significant issues with Donaggio's Tourist Trap. Even still, at least we got the equally captivating and previously more scarce Crawlspace. |

I own the Varese LP, it's very good. I do hope it is released on cd one day. The melodies are similar to a couple of Morricone's other scores, but the score is good anyway. |

I know that this is the suggestion section, but after listening to it once, I feel compelled to be vocally thankful for Varese's release of the full album. http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.10134/.f |
