what about a collection of the complete score by Harold Faltermeyer from the first movie? (and also from the first sequel)

These are not going to happen any time soon. La-La Land has continually stated that the Beverly Hills Cop films are mired in lots of holdups when it comes to a new album.

We'll just have to forget about these for now.

I love the low-end in "The Discovery."

According to a recent post made by La-La Land, what's really been holding up the release of the Beverly Hills Cop scores was the proposed TV series and now the new film. How silly is that? I'll never understand how these companies operate. The original Hawaii Five-0 scores are also being held-up because of its new series.

A double-header release of parts 1 and 2 would be a dynamite album. Unless there's a substantial amount of unused material, both scores should fit on one disc along with the film version of the song "Shakedown."
