I'm new to these forums, but an old music lover and like all here I have a true weakness for movie soundtracks.

I am a fan of the music of Bruce Broughton and I have been waiting for a long, long time for a release that may never become reality, but a dream of mine anyways, and that is Bruce Broughton's Park music collaboration with Disney at Epcot, The Ellen's energy adventure soundtrack in particular, especially the melody playing while you wait seating on the moving theater, I think it is great stuff from Bruce, as it is spaceship earth, and many others.

I often wonder if these will ever get released in their entirety but I keep my hopes up.

I guess this is not a popular idea around here

This has been a very frequent question, often asked. But this seems to be very difficult to get the rights to do this properly. Bruce Broughton's music for Disneyland Parks is something to consider as well (From time to time, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Cinemagique, etc).
Roger has been saying that he definitely wants to do an album of unreleased Disneyland music. Maybe Space Mountain (Steve Bramson) and The Phantom Manor (John Debney) too...

Just to bump this topic, I'm curious if any progress has been made on getting Broughton's music released (in particular, for Ellen's Adventure). I recently had to move away from Orlando and have been feeling homesick for Disney so this is something that would be most welcomed.

On a side note, Richard Bellis also has a unique lineup of park music (Alien Encounter, Dinosaur) that hasn't been heard at all.

A Broughton theme park album would be an instant buy for me! I hope this project is still in development, after all the great scores by this composer that got released the last few months this would be a crowning achievement! The only thing i can´t imagine is why it could be more difficult to clear the rights for theme park recordings than for a regular film score? Are there other contracts with the sessions musicians?

Ah, ok.. Still i hope Doug and Roger will find a way ro get the rights for the box set Mr. Broughton mentioned... since Rosemans score for that Epcot Body Wars film was released, it seems to be possible in some way... Got my fingers crossed!!
