Considering how well-received Intrada's earlier release of the previous effort (THOSE MAGNIFICENT IN THEIR FLYING MACHINES) by the same director/writer/composer team, it seems there should be some scope for a premiere CD release of the above. The Paramount vaults may yield more music than appeared on the original (hard to find) LP. Even if only the master for the album turned out to be the sole source available, the playing time was rather generous (40 minutes) compared to the FLYING MACHINES LP. |

The release of Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines far exceeded my expectations. If they can work the same magic with Those Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies I would be thrilled. Although I already have the Paramount LP, if the film recordings no longer survive I would love a CD release of the album. As I mentioned in a previous post, the policy of alternate cover images would also enable a release to have artwork with the U.K. title "Monte Carlo Or Bust". |

Do you have an image of the cover of the LP of MONTE CARLO OR BUST? As I once owned the U.S. LP of THOSE DARING YOUNG MEN IN THEIR JAUNTY JALOPIES, I know the cover art on that wouldn't reduce very well to the dimensions of a CD. |

The English artwork for MONTE CARLO OR BUST would definitely work better as the cover for a CD. One can dream... |
