As it's unlikely the Columbia music vaults will yield the original music tracks for the above, why not a Matt Helm double gleaned from the vinyl album masters? (Sony Music would hopefully have the elements for both.) From a purist point of view these have been reworked for album release but, as there's nothing else, here's a void needing to be filled! (Like a number of soundtrack titles on the Colgems label, the latter is extremely hard to find on vinyl!)

Yeah, older Columbia Pictures elements are seemingly a lost cause for the most part. We got extremely lucky with Cromwell. Anyway, count me in for both album presentations.

On a similar note, let's have a release of the Colgems album for Quincy Jones' In Cold Blood. That's a presentation so strong that it shouldn't need to be paired with anything else.

A pairing of the Colgems albums for Frank De Vol's Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and The Happening would be a neat release.

Sony recently made the Silencers album available via lossless download, just one of many surprise albums I found at 7Digital. It is definitely sourced from the master tapes and sounds brilliant.

THE SILENCERS is also available in a physical form from the English CD label Dutton Vocalion. I'm getting a copy shortly so will let members know what the sound quality is like.
