I have asked before about this and I'm sure somebody else on here started a feed before me but do we know if Bill Conti's score to Gotcha! still exsists and are we likely to get a release?
MCA originally released it with mostly songs and two cues, one of which was a re-orchestrated version of the brilliant "Over The Edge" cue. I must admit I think Conti was at the top of his game during the late 70's through to the mid to late 80's and I think this must be long overdue.
I would also love a release of some of his TV Works like Emerald Point, the theme to the Master (very For Your Eyes Only), The Colbys, Falcon Crest and Dynasty I believe he wrote the Pilot episode"Oil".
Anyone have any knowledge they can impart.
Grateful and much respect all.
Rich :D

Hello, Rich. Roger commented about Gotcha! not too long ago. He mentioned that there's only around 20 minutes of score, and was mulling over including the album's songs in order to extend the time to a releasable length.

Hey T. Newman Fan

Thanks for that, to be honest if it meant the whole score came with it i'd be happy. We had the same thing sometime ago with Rookie of the Year, Bushwhacked and the Jimmy Reardon score.. Conti is a composer who only scores when necessary and doesn't seem to wallpaper.. Even Masters Of The Universe has moments of no score and that film has a lot of music on it. I just want to get hold of it as it comes from that John Barry'ish period of his career. Maybe one day it'll come out and I'll have to find something else to bang on about... :D
