Hot to Trot & Darkman by Danny Elfman - Complete Scores

Stumbled upon some snippets of Elfman's score to "Hot to Trot" (the two tracks that were on the Music for a Darkened Theater CD), along with some clips on YouTube. The movie looks like harmless, silly fun, but the music sounds great, especially the track in this clip:

I really hope the score gets released. It's classic Elfman and it would be great to have it in my comedy score collection.

I do know Darkman had a release already, but it didn't have the crazy, hectic helicopter chase cue from Jonathan Sheffer, played here:

Who's with me on asking Intrada to release these gems?

I would definitely buy Hot to Trot if it were released. It is a fun, whimsical score and I like to support premiere releases of comedy soundtracks whenever possible as it's an unpopular genre among collectors for whatever reason.

By the way, Darkman is getting a Collector's Edition on Blu-Ray February 18th! Shout Factory will be putting extras.

I'm up for Darkman, tons of music missing off the MCA original release which deserves to see the light of day. This was probably the phase of Elfman's career we all went nuts for, I played my original Batman LP to death and killed my Darkman Cassette.. then spent months trying to find it on CD!! :oops:

Darkman was released by MCA Records (UMG). So this would definitely be in Intrada's territory.
