I'm hoping this is already in the works but I would really love an expanded or complete release of Jerry Goldsmith's exciting score to "The Mephisto Waltz". The Varese Sarabande release is nice as it is coupled with "The Other", but much of the score remains to be released. As I watched the Mephisto Waltz again, I realized that the true star of that film was Jerry Goldsmith, he made the film as creepy as it was.

A fantastic and effectively disturbing score. It was confirmed a while back that Varese is the only label that can revisit The Mephisto Waltz and The Other.

Well than I'll try and keep high hopes but now that Varese owns it, who knows what will happen?
