Hello, having been an admirer of Ron Goodwin's scores for as long as I can remember I see that their is no album or CD release for probably one of the best scores Goodwin delivered in the mid-1970's. Considering that Intrada have a licence to release Disney archive scores I thought of a perfect release that I feel has been sadly neglected since the films release in 1975. One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing would be a perfect release. I've long wanted a fully released, remastered CD of the film score by Goodwin. It's a zany, colourful score by Goodwin, and one that delivers. If only Intrada could get this much forgotten Goodwin score out of the Disney vaults, I for one would happily rejoice in it's release. Considering Condorman got the full Intrada treatment, surely it's time to dust down this forgotten masterpiece Disney score. |

If Goodwin is on the radar, be sure and ping "Candleshoe" an "Diamonds on Wheels". Of note, the score for "Diamonds on Wheels" as most have seen it is for a feature length cut of the film. It was originally a three part television movie that has an expanded score when you see the three segments in its original airing. I would look forward to any of the Goodwin/Disney scores, and "Dinosaurs" is one of the best

That's an encouraging to hear Roger. Hopefully in the next few years we can hear this score again. After Intrada's great work on the Frank Cordell score of Cromwell, I certainly appreciate all the work you do in restoring these soundtracks, whether it's Disney or non-Disney material. |
