I know Intrada was interested in releasing the original tracks of this gorgeous Mancini score. However the tapes appeared lost. Just wondering if Roger could give an update so I don't have to keep hoping unnecessarily. Thanks |

I do not think the Two for the Road tracks are lost. I read about a year ago (on a website, I have never been able to find it again) that the Mancini family has the recordings for Two for the Road. Today I found this very interesting Henry Mancini 1988 interview: http://www.runmovies.eu/?p=3948 He states he has the tapes, so I am assuming, now that he is no longer with us, his family still has them. It mentions Charade, Arabesque and Two for the Road. As we know, the first one has been released, so hopefully Intrada will release the rest someday. Regards to all. |
