Does anyone know if the Varese Sarabande version of The Magnificent Seven by Elmer Bernstein is the complete version? I would like to know, in case I ever add that album to my collection. Thank you, all. Chris |

Hi Chris, There is no complete recording of this one....the full score is about 80mins. The Varese/RSNorch./Bernstein re-recording is 56mins, but WELL worth it if you can get a copy - it's a fantastic recording, very energentic, and a rare disc that was pulled due to artwork issues. The other Varese reissue of the old Rykodisc CD is 68mins. in mono of the original tracks. Still missing a scant few, repetitive minutes of variations. Cheers  Sean |
