With OOP albums from Prometheus Records being reissued by other labels (The Challenge, Flesh & Blood, etc.)... what are the odds Basic Instinct ever reappears? I imagine Intrada - with their Carolco/Studio Canal connection - would get this one. I'm not familiar enough with the film to know what's missing (if anything) but it would be nice to have it available again. ![]() |

Other than the final cue being an alternate on album as per Goldsmith's request, I don't think anything is missing from the Prometheus release that is even labeled as complete. The Prometheus album can still be bought at regular price from outlets like Intrada and SAE. I can't imagine a re-re-release having much demand at this point for a score that has already been treated so well and remains well stocked, but that certainly hasn't stopped labels before when it comes to Goldsmith. |

I figured as much... I was just thinking of this the other day. Hell, I own this album - I don't need it to come back in print! ![]() (Then again, Lukas over at the FSM forum mentioned that we seem to be at the point where new collectors ask for certain titles and have no idea that they're actually available.) |
