I think these two John Williams scores need to be re-released because the present CDs are out of print and are only available at prices that are out ragious. They should have been released in a higher volume because William's scores will go like hot cakes once they're released. I checked the price of "The Towering Inferno" and it's sale price is $175 dollars. That is too much to pay for a CD. I don't know about anybody else but I think it's time for these re-releases. |

The Towering Inferno could really use a re-release. The best existing audio source for it may be far less than optimal, but it is a prestige title in Williams' output. I would like to add that a re-release of The Eiger Sanction would also be most welcome, this time adding the film tracks to the album recording. |

Well The Posideon Adventure has been re-released (La-La), but no reason why it can't be released again. I think it's very odd that The Towering Inferno has never had a re-release, it was one of the few quick sell-outs from FSM, & that was around 12 years ago! |

Thank you for mentioning The Eiger Sanction T. Newman Fan, I should have mentioned that one to. I'd like to see that release to. Hope fully Towering Inferno and Posideon Adventure can get a re-release. |

Although I own the FSM edition of Towering Inferno I think it really needs an upgrade. Some remastering and the inclusion of all those source cues would be nice. Williams did the source stuff so wonderful in those days. So I happily would pay for a new CD of the score.

Another vote here for THE TOWERING INFERNO  It's on my "most wanted" John Williams list (along with expanded versions of JAWS 2 and EARTHQUAKE) |
