I just saw "Children of the Damned" and was impressed with Ron Goodwin's haunting score for it. I haven't seen all of "Village of the Damned" but I can only assume it's equally impressive. It would be totally impressive if these two scores made their way to a CD release. |

These two would make for a good double-header release. They should now fall under Warner's WaterTower Music for licensing. |

That's just what I was thinking T. Newman Fan. It would be a great double header release. I just hope it's releasing is possible and the score masters weren't lost. |

Perhaps the Goodwin estate has suitable elements available if there is a problem with studio storage. Every FSM release of a Goodwin score, as well as Intrada's release of Sir Gawain, contains music derived from 1/4" tapes from Goodwin's own collection. |

It would be a great release, but here in England, junking scores is what we do, & we're really good at it! Unless there's some tapes in the Goodwin estate, then there's no chance. |

I think there's a decent chance. Warners may have actually retained the tapes for it, or if they're at the Goodwin estate we know Intrada has worked with both them and WaterTower Music (North by Northwest) before...plus Doug has mentioned that the Goodwin scores for Disney are on Intrada radar so we know he's really a fan...
