Another great score from Basil Poledouris that got a terrible release from Varese Sarabande. The VS cd only had 35 minutes of music on it. An expanded version would be welcome. |

I would love an expansion, but I think we have to count on Varese for expansion of these 90s Poledouris scores. That includes Under Siege 2, Hot Shots 2, On Deadly Ground, RoboCop 3 and Starship Troopers. |

LLLR has stated pretty much anything after 1990 is owned in perpetuity by Varese. |

Just one Varese Deluxe Edition of a 90s Poledouris action score this year would be a miracle. RoboCop 3 and Under Siege 2 are the big priorities in my mind. Starship Troopers would be great, but I seem to recall talk about the original album being extremely expensive to produce for some reason. Or was that merely unconfirmed speculation? |
