With the arrival (finally!) of the film on Blu-Ray (and in it's proper aspect ratio), one can only hope that this charming, lively score by John Addison might finally see an official release. The mix of Viennese and eastern-European dances, as well as the lovely passacaglia for Holmes are just some of the great things Addison brought to the table here. Here's hoping masters exist in some form!

I just finished watching this film for the first time, and am also very interested in a CD release of Addison's colorful score.

Thanks for mentioning this one.

Tony Thomas had already assembled a program for a composer promo on vinyl, so am a bit surprised this hasn't appeared on CD as yet.

The sound quality of that promo could be improved quite a bit, though.
