Released as an LP arrangement on the MGM Records label, I would like to see this exquisite Francis Lai score for the MGM film International Velvet make its way to CD in the best quality possible. I would like to think that licensing should be straightforward if all of the elements can be located. |

Yes, the unreleased film tracks would now be made possible through Warner Bros.' WaterTower Music division. |

I want to add that it would be nice to also have Herbert Stothart's score for the 1944 film National Velvet, that is if adequate sources survived as was the case with Stothart's score for the 1944 film Dragon Seed. Like the Lai score for International Velvet, it contains some really attractive melodies. |

Yep, the Hello-Goodbye album has lots of great themes in it. It was on 20th Century Records, so now owned by UMG. I hope Universal France release it, as they haven't released many Francis Lai titles. They could pair it with I'll Never Forget What's 'is Name, originally on Decca so also now UMG. |

I am shocked that International Velvet hasn't been done yet. Well, not really considering that a lot of higher profile scores are waiting, but I needed an excuse to bump this thread. |
