There are enough Ennio Morricone CDs available to stack higher than Mt. Everest, but one of his scores that I feel really needs to be done justice is Orca. FSM released their amazing expansion of the gorgeous score for Days of Heaven, thereby completely obviating the CD released by Legend. It would be great if the poor sounding Legend CD for Orca can become completely obviated as well. |

This is one of my three Morricone grails I'd like to see released expanded/complete resp. in proper form (the others being PER QUALCHE DOLLARO IN PIÙ and DIABOLIK). Concerning ORCA my hope has risen in light of the recent (expanded) reissues GDM/Legend have released. Maybe sooner rather than later there'll be an adequate ORCA release. Either way it's a beautifully haunting score that deserves a better treatment. |

YES! I have a European release of this, which is terrible quality - it sounds like someone taped it off of an old scratched LP!!!!! I would be glad of a decent copy of this |

It's curious: I'm not aware of any vinyl release for this save the Japanese edition on the Tam label. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the source for the 1990's Legend CD. (I'm also fairly sure that Legend also used a vinyl source for their release of Nino Rota's WATERLOO.) |

The fine score by Morricone aside, I'd certainly buy the soundtrack if they used that amazing poster art. ![]() |

I'd like to see "Orca" released to. I've only heard about bootleg copies of this score. |

As the Paramount vaults have now been flung open, an expanded, remixed and remastered edition would be welcome. Legend's CD release from the early '90's was not a bootleg, it simply used inferior sources. |

One of Morricone's most beautiful scores along with Days of Heaven. I can only hope that the master tapes survive in good condition somewhere within Paramount's vaults. |
