There have been numerous multi-score soundtrack releases of Paramount titles, with my favorites being FSM's The Parallax View/Marathon Man and The Friends of Eddie Coyle/Three Days of the Condor. The Gambler and The Bad News Bears are both Paramount films with Jerry Fielding scores largely adapting classical works by Gustav Mahler for the former and Georges Bizet for the latter. Enjoyable performances are featured in both. I think it makes sense to release the scores for these two films together. |

I think Intrada released the last Fielding in october 2011 so this would be most welcomed - though I would still prefer to see Junior Bonner to be released first! ![]() |

Junior Bonner is certainly one of the most highly requested titles left to release. Assuming there are no extraordinary issues in cost of production, I'm sure Intrada will eventually come around and get it out there. |

I'd welcome "The Gambler". Fielding did a nice job with that one. |
