Composed between THE NIGT DIGGER and SISTERS, this unaccountably obscure score is a deft mixture of lyricism and suspense, as well as a haunting vocal setting to words by William Blake. Another Blake (Howard) plays the synthesizer on this score. I have to assume that, considering how sought after Herrmann is these days, the lack of a release infers that the musical elements have disappeared. Still if by some miracle this wasn't the case, Intrada has released other scores from Studio Canal. |
