Two scores from 1970 Fox films, The Games and Hello-Goodbye each had an LP release that seem to be excellent candidates for bringing together to the CD age. I think this twofer would have good appeal to the soundtrack market. Some tracks from the LP release for The Games: The Games features a catchy song from very early in Elton John's career, the melody written by Francis Lai with lyrics by Hal Shaper. I forgot to add that the LP for The Games is very rare, apparently sometimes selling for hundreds of dollars on the used market. |

I've never seen Hello-Goodbye, but the album sounds a blast, real 60's groovy. The title I'd really love is, I'll Never Forget What's 'is Name. Both those albums are now owned by UMG. I don't honestly expect Intrada to release them, maybe Universal France, they haven't released much Francis Lai. |
